Addison Parker McDowell represents North Carolina's 6th congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives, having taken office on January 3, 2025. McDowell was born on January 21, 1994, and is a member of the Republican Party. Prior to entering elected office, McDowell worked as a lobbyist. He was first elected to Congress in 2024. In the 119th Congress, McDowell sponsored H.Res.447, a resolution condemning antisemitism and commemorating Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Milgrim, which advanced in committee and drew between 50 and 99 cosponsors.
