April McClain Delaney represents Maryland's 6th congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives, having been sworn in on January 3, 2025. Before entering Congress, she worked as a lawyer and served as deputy administrator of the National Telecommunications and Information Administration from 2022 to 2023. Maryland's 6th district covers a broad swath of western and northwestern Maryland.
