Brad Finstad represents Minnesota's 1st congressional district, a section of southern Minnesota along the Iowa border, having taken office on August 12, 2022. He is a member of the Republican Party. Prior to his federal service, Finstad served in the Minnesota House of Representatives from 2003 to 2009. His legislative record in Congress reflects consistent engagement with agricultural policy, rural infrastructure, and workforce issues.
