Who they are, where they came from

Brandon Gill represents Texas's 26th congressional district, anchored in Denton County north of Dallas and Fort Worth, and has served in that seat since January 3, 2025. A member of the Republican Party, he is the youngest Republican member of Congress. Before entering elected office, Gill worked as an investment banker and media proprietor. He sponsored H.J.Res.142, a resolution disapproving a District of Columbia Council action, which was enacted into law. He also sponsored H.R.273, the REMAIN in Mexico Act of 2025, and H.R.4448, the Restoring Equal Opportunity Act, both of which are in committee.
