Who they are, where they came from

Daniel Sachs Goldman represents New York's 10th congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives, a seat he has held since January 3, 2023. A member of the Democratic Party, Goldman is an attorney by training. Prior to his election to Congress, he served as the lead majority counsel during the first impeachment inquiry against Donald Trump and as lead counsel to House Managers during Trump's impeachment trial, both in 2019. His legislative record in the House includes sponsorship of bills addressing public safety, gun regulations, judicial ethics, emergency preparedness, mental health, and commemorative initiatives, among them the 25th Anniversary of 9/11 Commemorative Coin Act (HR.1993) and the No Secret Police Act of 2025 (HR.4176).
