Who they are, where they came from
Daniel Meuser represents Pennsylvania's 9th congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives, a seat he has held since January 2019. Before entering federal office, Meuser served as Pennsylvania's Secretary of Revenue under Governor Tom Corbett. He previously served as president of Pride Mobility Products, a Wilkes-Barre/Scranton-area manufacturer of motorized wheelchairs, and continues as a board member and consultant to the company. He has testified before Congress on federal practices related to the rights and care of people with disabilities. In the 118th Congress, two of his amendments were agreed to by voice vote (HAMDT.729, HAMDT.695). He sponsored H.R.3865, designating a U.S. Postal Service facility, which was enacted into law.
