Who they are, where they came from

Gabe Evans represents Colorado's 8th congressional district, a seat he has held since January 3, 2025. His district encompasses parts of Weld and Adams counties, including the communities of Brighton, Lochbuie, Fort Lupton, Todd Creek, and Platteville. Before entering Congress, Evans served as a U.S. Army officer and as a law enforcement officer. He is a member of the Republican Party. In the 119th Congress, Evans sponsored H.R.3628, the State Planning for Reliability and Affordability Act, a bill referred to committee.
