Who they are, where they came from

Jake Ellzey represents Texas's 6th congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives, having been sworn in on July 30, 2021. Before his election to Congress, he served briefly in the Texas House of Representatives for the 10th district from January to July 2021. Prior to his career in elected office, Ellzey served as a naval aviator and fighter pilot in the United States Navy, completing combat tours in both Afghanistan and Iraq.
