Jim Justice serves as the junior United States Senator from West Virginia, having taken office on January 14, 2025. A member of the Republican Party, Justice previously served as the 36th Governor of West Virginia from 2017 to 2025. Before entering elected office, he inherited a coal mining business from his father encompassing 94 companies. He and his family own the Greenbrier, a luxury resort and National Historic Landmark in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. As of 2025, his net worth was estimated at $664.2 million, making him the wealthiest sitting U.S. Senator.
