Keith Alan Self represents Texas's 3rd congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives, a seat he has held since January 3, 2023. He is a member of the Republican Party. Self is a military veteran and served as county judge for Collin County, Texas from 2007 until 2018. His legislative record in the House includes sponsoring H.R.4136, the U.S. Congressman Sam Johnson Memorial VA Clinic Act, which was enacted into law. His voting record across multiple Congresses includes votes against continuing appropriations measures, including H.R.2872, H.R.7463, H.R.9747, and H.R.10545, as well as against the Further Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2024 (H.R.2882) and the American Relief Act, 2025 (H.R.10545).
