Lisa Blunt Rochester has served as the junior United States Senator from Delaware since January 3, 2025. She previously represented Delaware's at-large congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives from 2017 to 2025. She is the first woman and first African American to represent Delaware in either chamber of Congress.
