Mark Kelly is the senior United States Senator from Arizona, a seat he has held since December 2, 2020, and a member of the Democratic Party. He is a retired astronaut and naval officer. In the Senate, Kelly has sponsored legislation across several policy domains, including domestic semiconductor manufacturing (S.2228, S.3301, S.5002), maritime industry capacity (S.1541), water rights settlements for Arizona tribal nations (S.953, S.3617), and water infrastructure (S.570, S.5439).
