Who they are, where they came from

Maxwell Alejandro Frost represents Florida's 10th congressional district and has served in the U.S. House of Representatives since January 3, 2023. Elected at age 25, he is the youngest member of the United States Congress and was its first Generation Z member. Prior to his election, Frost served as national organizing director for March for Our Lives. In the 118th and 119th Congresses, Frost has introduced legislation addressing gun violence prevention, including the Office of Gun Violence Prevention Act (HR.1699, HR.1307), and bills targeting specific aspects of firearms regulation such as the Destroy Zombie Guns Act (HR.7134) and the Prevent Illegal Gun Resales Act (HR.7135). He has also sponsored measures related to air quality on aircraft (HR.4994), hurricane preparedness (HR.4563), epinephrine access (HR.5139), radioactive materials transport (HR.4592), rental housing fees (HR.4100), library book access (HR.6592, HR.7691), and youth climate policy (HR.8363). He voted against final passage of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2024 (HR.2670), a vote that ran counter to the majority of his party. He also sponsored a resolution condemning racism and bigotry toward Haitian people (HRES.1473).
