Michael T. McCaul has represented Texas's 10th congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives since January 2005. An attorney by training, he is a member of the Republican Party. He chaired the House Committee on Homeland Security during the 113th, 114th, and 115th Congresses. His district spans a corridor that includes portions of the Austin and Houston areas.
