Who they are, where they came from

Michael T. McCaul has represented Texas's 10th congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives since January 2005. An attorney by training, he is a member of the Republican Party. He chaired the House Committee on Homeland Security during the 113th, 114th, and 115th Congresses. His district spans a corridor that includes portions of the Austin and Houston areas. In the 118th Congress, McCaul has sponsored measures addressing U.S. support for Israel (H.RES.768), pediatric cancer drug development (H.R.3433), border security grant funding (H.R.8935), criminal law enforcement (H.R.3152), and rare pediatric disease research incentives (H.R.7384).
