Flood has spent time focused on a few core fights. Each is tied to bills actually introduced or votes actually cast.
01
Rural hospitals warrant dedicated federal supportFlood sponsored the Supporting Access to Rural Community Hospitals Act of 2025 (H.R.1191), which addresses federal policy as it applies to rural community hospitals. The bill has been introduced in multiple Congresses, indicating sustained legislative attention to the access and operational conditions facing rural health care facilities.
02
Federal spending and energy subsidy policies warrant revisionFlood sponsored the Ending Green Giveaways Act (H.R.1066) and the No More D.C. Waste Act (H.R.1686), both introduced in committee and reintroduced across Congresses. H.R.1066 addresses energy-related federal expenditures, while H.R.1686 targets federal spending practices in the District of Columbia, reflecting a legislative pattern focused on government expenditure.
03
Investor access and housing policy merit legislative attentionFlood sponsored the Equal Opportunity for All Investors Act of 2025 (H.R.3339), which addresses criteria governing investor participation, and the HOME Reform Act of 2025 (H.R.5878), which relates to federal housing policy.
