Morgan Luttrell represents Texas's 8th congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives, a seat he has held since January 3, 2023. He is a member of the Republican Party, a businessman, and a military veteran. On September 11, 2025, Luttrell announced he would not seek re-election in 2026.
In the 118th and 119th Congresses, Luttrell's legislative activity has centered on veterans' benefits, border security, law enforcement, and military readiness.
