Rick Larsen represents Washington's 2nd congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives, a seat he has held since January 2001. He is a member of the Democratic Party and serves as ranking member of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee. Larsen sponsored H.R.5983, the Clean Water Act of 2023, and has introduced legislation addressing transportation safety (H.R.3773) and health services for veteran families (H.R.4855). He voted in favor of S.2228, the Building Chips in America Act of 2023, which became law.
