Robert B. Aderholt is an attorney and politician from Alabama who has represented Alabama's 4th congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives since January 1997. The district encompasses most of Tuscaloosa County north of the Black Warrior River, Walker County, and portions of the southern suburbs of Huntsville and Decatur. Aderholt is a member of the Republican Party and the Tea Party Caucus. His legislative record includes enacted measures such as a resolution authorizing a unique arrangement with the Secretary of the Interior (H.J.RES.133) and legislation naming a Department of Veterans Affairs community-based outpatient clinic in his district (H.R.5464). He has also sponsored recurring resolutions honoring National Adoption Day and Constitution Day (H.RES.855, H.RES.1577, H.RES.1456, H.RES.729).
