Steve Scalise represents Louisiana's 1st congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives, a seat he has held since May 2008. He currently serves as House Majority Leader, a position he assumed in 2023. Previously, he served as House Majority Whip from 2014 to 2019 and House Minority Whip from 2019 to 2023.
