Wesley Bell represents Missouri's 1st congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives, having taken office on January 3, 2025. Before entering Congress, Bell served as prosecuting attorney for St. Louis County, Missouri, from 2019 to 2025. He is an attorney by profession and a member of the Democratic Party. In his early legislative record, Bell sponsored the Baltic Security Assessment Act of 2025 (H.R.5543), a measure that attracted between 50 and 99 cosponsors and was referred to committee.
