William Richardson Timmons IV represents South Carolina's 4th congressional district, which covers Greenville, Spartanburg, and their surrounding suburbs in the state's Upstate region. He has held the seat since January 3, 2019. Before serving in Congress, Timmons worked as a prosecutor and served as an Air Force officer. He previously held elected office as a South Carolina state senator from 2016 to 2018.
